Artist Bio

Ntsikinys is a South African singer-songwriter from Bushbuckridge, now based in Pretoria. Her sound is a heartfelt fusion of Afro-soul, R&B, and raw emotional storytelling—centered on healing, identity, and empowerment.

She began writing music at the age of 16, after the devastating loss of her sister, who passed away five years after their mother and grandmother. Her first song, “Tears,” was written as a way to cope with grief and express emotions too deep for words. That marked the beginning of her creative journey—transforming pain into purpose.

While she sang and danced from an early age, it was during secondary school that Ntsikinys began performing her own original music. She formed music groups, wrote her own songs, and performed them at school events—developing her voice and presence as a young artist.

With the release of her debut album Yinde Lendlela, Ntsikinys shares her truth through music. Her songs explore themes of loss, love, self-worth, and spiritual growth—inviting listeners into an intimate and empowering journey. With lyrics in Zulu, Tsonga, and English, she speaks not just to the ear, but to the soul.
